When someone sends 🌑 in a Snap, it's usually a quick reaction or mood-setter — the visual nature of Snaps makes emojis a primary communication tool.
In Snap's chat feature, 🌑 functions similarly to texting — expressing the dark new moon — lunar cycle beginnings, new starts, and darkness before dawn. quickly without needing to type it all out.
