When someone sends ⛅ in a Snap, it's usually a quick reaction or mood-setter — the visual nature of Snaps makes emojis a primary communication tool.
In Snap's chat feature, ⛅ functions similarly to texting — expressing half sun, half cloud — partly cloudy and mixed conditions. quickly without needing to type it all out.
Note: Snapchat also assigns emojis automatically next to friends based on your streak and interaction level. ⛅ appearing next to a friend's name has a platform-specific meaning separate from the emoji itself.
